Just as with nouns, a second group of adjectives exists with a singular ending in -e. Unlike Group 1, these adjectives do not change based on gender; the same form is used for both masculine and feminine subjects.
This means that whether describing a man or a woman, the adjective remains identical:
Lui è gentile (He is kind) (m.)
Lei è gentile (She is kind) (f.)
