As we've seen with adjectives of nationality, adjectives in Italian must agree with the noun they describe in gender (masculine or feminine) and number (singular or plural).
Just like nouns, Italian adjectives are also divided into two main categories.
For the time being, the focus remains on Group 1 adjectives — those ending in -o for masculine and -a for feminine.
